Texas Lasso

325 km Gravel

The signature route of the Tenterfield region — 325 km of gravel, off-road tracks and open roads that can be ridden flexibly over 3 to 5 days, depending on your pace. With a mix of rivers and bush, towns and solitary roads, the route is a truly rewarding ride. A variety of accomodation can be found along the way, including remote bush camps, caravan parks and cabins, with opportunities to resupply in Bonshaw or Texas. Gravel tyres are recommended to smooth out the rougher river trail sections.

4,000 m of climbing, 48% unsealed, and a maximum gradient of 16%. Pack tyres of 47mm or wider and enough water between the Dumaresq and Mole Rivers.
