Spring in Tenterfield

Wildflowers, blue skies, and the bush bursting back to life

Spring brings the best of both worlds to Tenterfield — clear blue skies, pleasant daytime warmth, and cool, crisp nights. It’s the perfect time to explore blooming gardens, wander through national parks, and wind down beside a roaring fire with a local drop from one of the nearby wineries.

Follow the trail of blazing colour and the sounds of the woodland forests bursting with new life. The National Parks beckon with their abundance of wildflowers, rock orchids and wattles providing vibrant bursts of reds, yellows, oranges and pinks against the greens and browns of the native forests. Listen to the sounds of wildlife awakening after winter, with many species welcoming new members to their families.
